燈光旅館-高砂 (Lighthotel-takasago)

I had such a pleasant stay at the Lighthotel-Takasago (3 nights), that I’ve already recommended this establishment to my friends. I stay on the 2nd floor of this adorable “home-sweet-home” Japanese-style apartment where they provide all amenities similar to if you were staying with a good friend. What I loved about this place was that you sleep on traditional tatami matts (for those who like a firmer rest, this is the way to go!) and it has a mini balcony to hang your laundry to dry! The space was large enough to house a family of 4, so being a single traveller, I felt thankful and extravagant to have the space all to myself. Conveniently located in-between Haneda and Narita airport. I took a direct train from Haneda and it was approximately 1 hr 20mins when I arrived at the Keisei-Takasago station. (Then another 10mins walk until u arrive at the hotel) The only advise I would give: if you are using Google maps, make sure you type in Lighthotel-TAKASAGO as there are other Lighthotel la near by. For those who like to drive, They provide free parking coins so you won’t have to pay additional costs!!!! Love the experience the Old and traditional part of Tokyo!
